Scavenger Hunt

Here's what we came up with this week.

{MEET ME AT THE CORNER}

The prissy, messy-headed girl at the corner of the road and driveway...
thought she would be meeting the pup, but he was running from her instead :-)
She loves him TO DEATH.
When she "hugs" him, I picture one of those cartoon pups,
with his eyes bulging out!

{MOTHER NATURE MEETS TECHNOLOGY}

Well, mother nature met my technology by way of my iPhone!
While the brats kiddos and I were picking flowers weeds,
I dropped it, and immediately thought of this prompt!
When I first got the phone, hubby insisted that I have the OtterBox for it.
Understandably so.
At least I didn't drop it in the driveway, toilet, pond, driveway, etc. etc.
Trust me, it has been a LOT WORSE than grass and flowers weeds!

{ONE STEP AT A TIME}

Oh, my Lou Lou and her ant bites. She and her brother both got into them in the pasture.
I never even knew they could run that fast.
They ran right into the swimming pool.
Then they had ants swimming with them in the pool!
I never knew ants could swim.
Learned a couple new things, didn't I?!

{WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE}

No, really?! Do you see anything wrong?
I mean other than... my 6 year old is down on the other side of our pond,
In his boxers. And ONLY his boxers. With a camo walkie talkie on his hip.
Trying to rope Jack the donkey?!
Nope, nothing wrong here. Just a typical day at the Pate's.
Oh, and let's just forget the fact that Mama Pate is just snapping away!?
And Jack's not running? He's just like, "Nope. No way. Not gonna do it."

{STANDING TALL}

Hot Rod is such a VICIOUS pup.
He's standing so tall here because he thinks he scared the kitty off.
Look how high his head is, and his backs all arched!
Little does he know, I shooed kitty away.
I just didn't have the heart to tell him, ya know?
He looks so proud of himself.
This is one of the instances where I wish I didn't
have my 50mm prime on the camera.
I could've gotten a shot of the kitty running scared. hehe
Ahhhh, who am I kidding?! I'd rather have that nifty fifty on there
than catch another shot of that crazy cat!
